Happiness, wealth, health and longevity!
Discover here the fourth hidden sanctuary of the 7 GODS OF FORTUNE.

Tenso is a Shinto shrine, near the lively Roppongi Crossing, dedicated to Fukurokuju, patron of happiness, wealth, health and longevity. His name is in fact composed by happiness (FUKU), wealth (ROKU) and longevity (JU).

He is affectionately regarded as the God Inari (one of the main Shinto deity) by people working in commerce and the restaurant business.

The name “Ryudo-Shinmei-gu” inscribed on the large stone pillar means “dragon light”, because legend has it that a dragon flew from Edo Bay every night to set a votive light while the shrine was being founded.
